Up for auction is this beautiful and highly unique ivory netsuke from Japan. I do not know its age, but it is at least 30 years old (possibly more) as it was purchased in Japan in the late 1970s. This is a signed piece. It measures 2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches wide. The design is of a very long skulled Buddha having his ear cleaned by a small man using a pick.
