"Oriental Man with Monkey on Shoulder" This ivory figurine of an oriental man with a monkey on his shoulder stands about 5 1/4" tall and the base is 2" wide. It is signed on the bottom of the base. It is in excellent condition and has no chips, age cracks or any missing fingers or toes. The detail of workmanship is truly outstanding in that both the man and monkey seem to be smiling as they perform. I'm not sure whether this is of Japanese or Chinese origin. I purchased it about ten years ago at a local doctors estate sale. This item cannot be shipped outside the US. It is being offered for your consideration in a "NO RESERVE" auction with free shipping as an added incentive to do your holiday shopping early.
