is a fantastic and rare iron pontil squat soda bottle from Columbia Pa and is embossed J.B. Edwards Columbia Pa inside a rectangular slug plate. This bottle is in extremely good condition and is near mint with no chips, dings or cracks! It has a wonderful applied blob top, the glass is in a stunning shade of green which is very clean and clear, t are tons of bubbles throughout the entire bottle, and t is a HUGE kick up in the base with a wonderful iron pontil mark with 95% of the iron still remaining. Also on this bottle is a very strange sand bubble. If you look at the pictures you will see on the inside is a bump bubble. This you can not feel on the outside but it does poke out on the inside. It is a piece of cold sandy glass that never melted and is pretty rare to find on a bottle! This bottle stands just under 7 inches tall and is 2.5 inches wide at the base. This is an extremely rare bottle a must for any serious collector of Columbia and Lancaster Pa bottles! You will not be disappointed. In the pictures it looks as if the top has been repaired. It has not, it is just metal around the neck that has been worn from the original metal clasp. Also in the neck of the bottle t is some water that looks like a chunk of glass missing, it is just water. This bottle has no damage, thanks
