J. Chein Disneyland Tin Ferris Wheel Disney and Tin Toy Collectors please take note. This is a great find. The Disneyland Version of the Chein Hercules Ferris Wheel. Note also this is the version that has Mickey on a blue background on the key side and the bell is Red. I am certain this is the rarer color combination of this piece. Even the little washer on the backside is original and in place. The piece has some usual wear but nothing serious. . All flaps are still connected and strong. In short this is an AWESOME combination and will make a great display piece for your collection. The Spring Needs Some work on it and the key is missing to make it run but I did not use it. I paid over 500.00 for this when I origonally bought it and is in the same shape as it was then. is some additional information on the piece. This Ferris Wheel is the six gondola, six spoke Disneyland 1950's version with many of the Disney characters. Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Pluto are the riders in the six gondolas. Disney characters on the front and sides are Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck & two of his nephews, Pinocchio, Snow White, Dopey, Doc, Grumpy, Goofy, Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum and two of the three pigs. Minnie is serving hot dogs and orange to Doc and Grumpy. Ferris wheel is approx. 17" tall and powered by a key wind coil spring. Item will be carefully packed for shipment.
