For bids is a catalog: " J.I. CASE PLOWS & OTHER FARM TOOLS." It boasts, J.I. Case, "The Plow a Man Can Pull." This catalog has an interesting back cover, as well, showing a championship horse, Jay Eye See. I had trouble finding the date of this until I looked at the caption under the group photo: "Exhibition of the light draft qualities of the J.I. Case Triumph Sulky Plow, given July 27, 1908, at Lohman, Mo., in the presence of 250 farmers. One man, without help of any kind, pulled the Triumph Sulky, cutting and turning a full sized furrow." Catalog is approx. 9" x 6 1/2," and has 32 pages.

In less than pristine condition and once folded and with bent corners, it does contain great illustrations of their various plows and other farm tools!!

This catalog was found under the floor boards of a building my husband tore down, used as a shim! Rough, but pages do turn, some staining and wear, but it is in quite nice condition considering it is 100 years old!! Just think, if someone had not "recycled" catalogs like this in a building project, they would not have survived until today! So, enjoy the nail holes in the catalog that tell a story!!
