J. Kellogg Handled Tongue & Groove Match Molding Planes This is a beautiful pair of match planes by J. Kellogg, of Amherst, MA, with his B imprint on the toe. They are marked 8/8 on the heel, and will, indeed, produce a 1/4" tongue and groove in the center of a 1" board. They are in Good++ condition. The bad: t are a few very tight checks on the ends of the planes. T is some surface rust on the skate and fences, and what looks like a minor bit of pitting. The planes have normal use marks. The good: The totes or handles are in excellent condition, with no cracks or repairs. The finish on the planes is probably original and very good, with only a couple of spots or stains.
