Outstanding colorful slab of Belvade or Belvadee Jasper/Agate, from The Stinkingwater Mountains East of Burns, Oregon. Fracture free.

Belvadee Jasper was once prized for use as a striker in flintlock rifles, due to its brilliant spark and exceptional hardness. We cabbers love it for the brilliant shine you can achive on the cabs, and the lightning bolt patterns that are characteristic within the stone.

This piece came out of an old Prineville rock Collection.
