Here is a really cool toy. This is really rare. Here is a vintage Jack in the box of Pinnochio by Jonthay Joymaker NYC 1930's (I think that is about the age) This is in fantastic shape considering its age. I don't see any thing pysically broken except 2 of the joints on the wooden box are seperating and a 3rd is just starting. I think the dryness of the wood has caused this to warp these corners a bit. Also 2 of the hinges are starting to come out a bit. When you turn the knob behind his head it makes his nose grow or shorten. It even says truth or falsehood on the knob. How cool is that! There is some paint wear on the top of his head and a chip of paint missing from his hand. His head has some very fine cracks in it. It might even just be the paint? Still has a really nice paint job. All in all a real great piece. I think it is all complete. The images on the boxes are in nice shape, but some have faded over time. Nice vintage piece. The pictures should tell the rest of the story. A great display piece!
