Up for auction is a great variety of advertising items for Jack Daniel's.
First is a large tin. It measures 10-1/4" x 3-3/4" x 4". It shows Mr. Jack Daniel, Est. 1866, Old No 7 Brand Quality Tennessee Sour Mash Whiskey, Heritage Series, 1857 Jack's Early Years with Dan Call, Collectible Tin. The tin is empty. The bottom has the words MADE IN USA in raised lettering. Also is a UPC Code: 082184081433.
Next is a Jack Daniel's Old No 7 Brand Old Time Tennessee Whiskey tin. Inside contains an old reproduction of a letter from the Jack Daniel Distillery, Oct. 6, 1906, the oldest registered distillery in the United States; and two empty 50 ml bottles of whiskey. Each side of the tin has different sayings: Jack Daniel's unsurpassed in quality, unexcelled in taste; Jack Daniel's distilled from selected grain; Jack Daniel's the highly prized gentleman's refreshment (has a small scratch on this side), and Jack Daniel's made with our own spring water. The bottom has the following in raised lettering: Hudson-Scott & Sons-Ltd. (Est. 1799) manufacturers of tin boxes since 1886 Carlisle, England.
Next is a tin with Jack Daniel's Old No 7 Gentlemen's Playing Cards. Three of the sides have the same wording as previous and one has Jack Daniel Distillery, Lem Motlow Prop. Inc. Lynchburg. (Pop. 361) Tenn. On the underside of the top of the tin there are two lines. There are 2 decks of cards. One set has green on the top and they are still in their original packaging. The other set is black on the top and is a complete set.
Next is an unusual and different Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 shot glass. It stands 3-1/4" high and comes together in the middle halfway up. The number 14 is in the glass on the bottom. There are two lines in the glass where the seam is.
Last there are three Jack Daniel's Stirrers. Stirrers are 6-3/4" tall. The front says Jack Daniel underneath the statute and on the back it says 1850-1911. Along the stirrer it says Distilled and Bottled by the Jack Daniel Distillery, Lynchburg, Tennessee 90 Proof. One of the stirrers has a bit of a yellow color around the front and back wording under the statute.
