SILVER CORNET DECANTER ~ 1986 "When Jack Daniel opened The White Rabbit and The Red Dog Saloons in Lynchburg in 1892, he thought of a novel way to attract people to the town square. After recruiting musically inclined locals, Jack supplied them with uniforms and instruments, and "Mr. Jack Daniel's Original Silver Cornet Band" was born. For over twenty years, the band continued to entertain and delight the folks in Lynchburg. The graceful lines of the featured instrument in Mr. Jack's band inspired this 1.75-liter decanter." Please refer to the photos for the condition of the box and the tax seal. This decanter belonged to my father who was a collector of Jack Daniel memorabilia. I have held on to his collection for 15 years and am now ready to let another collector enjoy it properly. I am not interested in being greedy, but would like to be accurate with my description/estimated value of this collection and its many bottles. If you feel I have incorrectly described this bottle please feel free to contact me through this post. I look forward to a having a better understanding of the collection. Any Messages sent to me through this posting will be greatly appreciated.
