On deck you scurvy dogs! Make way to bid! Or it's the Locker for ye! This auction be for a FAN REMADE Replica of Jack Sparrow's Flintlock. Are you afraid of scuffing up your Master Replica Flintlock, or just can't part with the $250.00 + dollars for one. Then this be the flintlock you seek. It started out as plastic version of Jack's gun,made from thick plastic, then it has been painstakingly redone to look alot like the Master Replica version. Over 15 hours of work have gone into this. The gun has been taken apart, and sanded. All screw holes and speaker holes have been filled in. Then primed and painted with several colors and layers of paint to give it that well used, weatd look. I use 3 different colors of brown and a flat black layered several times to create the look of worn wood. I also use 2 colors of silver and pewter to paint the barrel then lightly weather the barrel with a rust color, matching the MR version as much as possible. The hammer still works, but it does not make the "KAPOW" noise anymore, as the battery compartment door was filled over to hide some of the seem and screws. T is alot of detail in this project. I even added the small nails below the barrel just like Jacks. At first glance one would think they are looking at the MR version of Jack's Flintlock. I was the first to offer these on e-bay, others have copied me, but NON have the amount of detail or look like mine does. They won't show you large photos of their version, some don't even fill in the screw holes. Others just slap on a coat of brown paint and call it a day. Look at my photos then judge for yourself. These pictures don't do justice to the suttle colors of Burnt Umber and Raw Sienna, and black that give this replica that well used, worn look. The barrel even has a slight rusted look about it. The nice thing about my version is that it is about the same size as the MR version and fits nicely in the hand. And looks FANTASTIC stuck into your sash and belts!
