JACKSON CHINA Paul McCobb Jac alume COWBOY BRONCO Line Up for bid is mix of restaurant china dishes made by Jackson China. The shape was designed by Paul McCobb (1917-1969). Pattern name is unknown. (Interestingly McCobb who seems more known for 1950s Eames era furniture design, did contribute a number of dinnerware lines issued by Jackson.) Included is a 7 1/2" plate; a 4 3/4" fruit or side dish; and a coffee cup (3" h) and saucer (5 1/4"). All pieces are marked on the underside. T is some variation in markings. The cup and the saucer are marked Jac-alume (R) Jackson (c) CHINA CO. FALLS CREEK, PA. Shape by Paul McCobb. The plate and the small dish are marked JACKSON CHINA (c) FALLS CREEK, PA. designed by Paul McCobb. Condition: All pieces are without chips, cracks, or crazing. T are varying degrees of wear. The plate has the most, with general all over utensil and rubbing wear. The little dish has only a hint of wear in center. The cup has no noticeable wear and is very clean inside. The saucer has a little wear in center from placement of cup. A nice instant collection...almost a place setting (perhaps designed for breakfast). And it read more
