JACOB'S ROOMbyVirginia WoolfNew York: Harcourt Brace and Company, 1923 [1929]. First American Edition FOURTH Printing with the number "4" noted on copyright page. Since the latest work listed on the page facing the title page is " A Room of One's Own ," this printing should be published in 1929. Orange cloth boards, cream spine label printed in brown, fore- and bottom edges untrimmed . 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. 303 pages.The later dust wrapper (curtains and bouquet) was designed by the author's painter sister Vanessa Bell. As the latest works listed there are "Death of the moth" and "Roger Fry," it should be of the 1942 printing.Condition : VERY GOOD hardcover in a GOOD- dust jacket with chips and tears to spine ends.
