This is an unusually shaped piece of jade glass, possibly an ashtray for cigars, since the indentations are somewhat larger than the usual cigarette ashtray. The shape looks retro, a three-sided pillow design. The rim is rounded and polished and t are a few bubbles in the green translucent glass. It is in very good condition, no chip, cracks or repairs, just a light wear to the base Addendum: This piece measures approx. 6"L by 5 5/8"W and 2" high. The opening is 4" in diameter
