This is a jadeite green glass cake plate stand with a tall pedestal and domed foot. The glass is a creamy green milk glass that is often called Jadite or Jadeite. The color and shape combine to be elegant yet simple. There is a ring band that goes around the pedestal about half way down. Has a shallow lip that goes around the outer edge of the plate to hold the cake in place and help prevent slippage. Stands appx 6-1/4" tall x 6-1/4" across with the actual inside 6" across. The perfect size for candy, cake, and pastry. It would also make an excellent candle holder for home decor. New and in mint condition. Hand made pressed glass. Made in Cambridge Ohio by Mosser Glass.
