What a great clock! Measuring roughly 9" tall by 7" wide by 5 1/4" deep, this Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos clock is quite striking. It has a glass and metal case with chamfered sides, which is typical of Lecoultre Atomos clocks. What's special about this one, in my opinion, is the white dial with beautiful Roman numerals and blued steel Breuget hands. There are a bunch of Lecoultre Atmos clocks currently listed on Ebay, but there isn't another that looks like this. As for markings, the top of the works is impressed with the number 473796, which dates it to the 1970s, I believe. The underside of the clock is impressed: LeCoultre et Cie/ Metal/ Caliber 526-5/ Swiss. The top of the clock appears to retain its original label, as photoed. If read more
