Jaeger - LeCoultre World Time Desktop Clock 8 Day Wind I have a wonderful Jaeger - LeCoultre World Time 8 day Desktop Clock. Gold plated exterior. Has a rotating outer ring that indicates time in 37 worldwide locations. Little info I found on this clock - This clock is fitted with a movement caliber 228, 8 days of power reserve, indication of the date, to be wound with a key.Reference 482 ( marked on the back), in gold plated metal, produced between 1966 and 1972. Measures - 6 1/2" wide & stands 2 3/4" tall at the highest point on the back. Condition - This clock is very good used working condition. T is some discoloration or wear to the gold plate from over cleaning. The clear dome which feels to be plastic has some minor scratches in two areas between Trinidad & Rio Jan ( see close up pic). I will leave that up to the winner to polish them out. I did not open up the back because I did not want to mess with it. It seems to be holding good time & the date changes.
