Unique Jaguar Sovereign 4.0 for spare or repair.The TAC number plate and V5 show this is a Jaguar Cars, Browns Lane staff car. I have heard from a fellow enthusiast it was a Test and Development vehicle with certain prototype engine modifications. All I know is that after 75,000 miles and 22 years it is still very strong.Until recently it was my daily transport and very reliable. Unfortunately it is going to need some work to get through an MOT and I don't have the time, the skills, or the space to do it. But the fact is this car is too good to scrap.The good news.Mechanicaly it is good and reliable. Engine and gearbox are strong and starts first time every time. Bodywork is generaly clean with small signs of cosmetic rust at sills. It has 5 good tyres. The radio was replaced with a Mini Disk player (yes, really) and a CD multi-changer. Rear suspension was changed by a previous owner from the original pneumatic to traditional springs. Most electric systems are fine, air-con, windows, seats, trip computer, cruise control, central locking, sunroof, the aeriel and the clock are all working.It also comes with tax until November and a pile of spares including, if you want them, 4 complete doors.The bad news.I will list absolutely everything I know is wrong with the car, even minor stuff.The inner wings are rusted (see photos) as are the read more
