Jaguar XK’s wall plaque This is a delightfully kitschy 1970’s XK120 wall plaque. Made in plastic with the car in relief, this one is in silver/white with the relief points in gold. These were made by UNIPART in the mid-1970’s for British Leyland as part of a set of classic cars produced by Jaguar, Rover, Triumph, MG etc. It has a fold-out ‘photographic-type’ stand which also has a point for hanging. Not only are these rare in themselves because of their delicate and fragile nature but rarer still in this condition. It is not perfect (like the cars, they probably weren't when they were made!) but check the photograph. There are a couple of light scratches and small bits of the raised gold relief are rubbed but there will be few better. Already over 35 years old, these things are so fragile and rare that they don't often make it this far so it's priced on condition and scarcity! (Have you seen many of these?) A delightful reminder of the past this would make an excellent nostalgic addition to anyone's classic car collection and an unusual gift for the XK owner so get your bids in and make it yours!!
