Gorgeous dappled buckskin appaloosa on the Silver mold. Only 350 of these were made, this one is #62. (See picture.) Really very nice shading and dappling on this guy. No rubs or dings. Very nice crisp masking on this model (sock, blanket & stripe), and beautiful mapping around the stripe on his face. His left eyewhite was not painted as neatly as it could have been (see picture) but that is being very picky! Fortissimo comes with his velvet back and certificate of authenticity. * Model has been stored in a smoke free home. * Descriptions are as accurate as I am able to give, I never list anything as "perfect" or "mint" because all models have some overspray or other flaw, no matter how slight. * Models will be shipped USPS priority insured, and I pack them very carefully. Buyer will be charged the exact amount of shipping, I do not charge a handling fee. * Please feel free to contact me with any questions, I will get back to you within 24 hours. * Check out my other auctions, I am undertaking a major housecleaning and will be listing many models, and some accessories, hobby magazines, etc. Some really cool stuff and some blah, but low starting prices:o) * I am more than happy to combine shipping on any items ending within a week of each other. * I accept Paypal, money orders and cashier's checks. No personal checks, please. Thank you for looking at my auction! That should say "comes with his velvet bag " not "velvet back ." September 12, 2007 - Someone asked me about the faint lines visible in the closeup of Fortissimo's blanket. I thought it was just something from the photograph but I pulled him out to check, and t are actually a few very faint lines among the white spots of his blanket. Now that I know what to look for I can see a few more when I hold him to the light at certain angles. It isn't really a color change so much as that it is almost shiny. They have to be from the factory, my guess is that they use a metal mask for the blanket, and that somehow makes those lines. I added another copy of the closeup of his blanket and circled the lines in blue so you can see what I am talking about. I am sorry this wasn't part of the original description, but I was not aware of it. I don't know much about these models, so I don't know if they are all like this or not. Please feel free to email with any questions. Thanks!
