ESTATE SALE FIND! JAMES HAMILTON GREENSBORO, PA 2 GALLON STONEWARE CROCK JUG This magnificent old crock probably dates from the 1800s. It is gray with blue stenciling. It has an unusual stencilled design that I haven't seen before - please look closely at the photos. The jug has a handle and the remains of a cork are in the opening. It has one crack down the center and to the bottom - see photos. It does have some irregularities in the finish that I'm certain are from the manufacturing process. Please view the pictures. The crock won't hold liquid - but is a magnificent display piece! The crock measures 14" tall by about 9 1/2" wide. IMPORTANT AUCTION TERMS I am not an expert.
