This is a LOT of 8 8" by 10" black and white front of house lobby card stills in connection with the 1953 classic MGM drama of Carbine Williams, telling the tale of David Marshall Williams fugitive on a chain gang, turned inventor of the M-1 Carbine automatic rifle. And starring as Carbine Williams is James Stewart, also costarring Jean Hagen and Wendell Corey! foh front of house lobby card stills were issued way back when to movie theatres in the UK in sets of 8 to help market and promote the film, they were/are very popular! Below are five of them, of them, I will add images of the others shortly. Lobbys in generally very good to fine condition, some border wear in spots, but no major problems, per se, images are TERRIFIC, overall a great vintage lot!
