"JAMESTOWN AND CHAUTAUQUA LAKE TROLLEYS" is a long out-of-print 35 year-old history on the trolley lines of Jamestown and Chautauqua Lake, New York. It includes the Jamestown Street Railway, the Chautauqua Traction Co Railway and the Jamestown Westfield & Northwestern Railroad. In addition some mention is made of the Warren & Jamestown Street Railway and the Buffalo & Lake Erie Traction Railway. It all began with horse trolleys in 1884 and is a TON of hard to find history and rare photographs along with some timetables, car rosters, significant wreck info & photos, and route maps. The many photographs include open car 44 on the Celoran Park loop, "Columbia", a double-deck trolley on the Celeron Park loop, car 105 of the Chautauqua Traction Rw, Willard Line car No. 41, Midway Park trolleys, Car 67 on the Falconer line, St Louis car No. 81, abandonment photos, Jamestown Westfield ("J.W.") car No. 301 plus many more! ON THE FRONT COVER SEEN BELOW: the double-deck "Columbia" trolley at Celeron Park (the "Coney Island" for Jamestown) with the Chautauqua Lake in the background taken about 1894.
