This is a MAME cabinet I spent some time putting together a prototype last year. Getting married and so it's time to let it go for a while. 's what it contains DataEast cabinet painted black with the bezel artwork and marquee removed. Cabinet is in very good shape overall and the 19" monitor is strong with little burn-in. JPAC interface Happ 2 1/4 trackball - It's temporarily mounted on the left side. I hadn't gotten around to buiilding a control panel specifically for the trackball yet. It's hacked into a PS/2 mouse and works fantastic. (2) J-Stick joysticks - These are on the fly 4-way/8-way configurable (lift and twist to change configuration). I have the left one with a pully attached to the bottom that turns a wheel on a PS/2 mouse. The net effect is a rotary joystick for games like ikari warriors. T's a red toggle swtich under the control panel to switch between the trackball and rotary function. 1.6 GHZ AMD K5 computer with 20 GB Harddrive and ArcadeOS (Diamond Viper V550 graphic card) - I felt the dos based OS with menu selection via the keyboard/buttons was the most authentic feel. The only computer interaction is the on/off switch. I'll have to wipe the roms upon pickup, but will leave all the other infrastructure so that all you have to do is drop your legally owned roms in the roms directory. Pick-up only please...I'm read more
