Out of an old estate comes what I believe is a very rare painting by Dutch artist Jan Brink. Amazing heavy original wood and gold frame. What is most important about this piece is that it was entered into the Panama Pacific Exposition in San Francisco in 1915 and has it's original participant badge and US customs badge affixed to the back of the painting. Original price tag and description of the piece as well. What more could one ask for to authenticate a piece. I am offering a few more paintings I acquired from this person in New Mexico some years ago. Painted on porcelain and signed "J.Brink" on the lower right side.
