Jan McLean ~ CISSY ~ 26" Porcelain Lollipop Girl - SOLD OUT Description Long legged, slender and sassy, ~ CISSY ~ comes from Jan McLean's porcelain Lollipop Girls collection. She is #240 from a completely sold out edition of 5000 pieces world wide. She is completely original and unaltered. She has never been undressed or redressed. From the 2002 Collection catalog: The Story of the Lollipop Girls The lollipop girls began as sketches. Jan first saw her inspiration on the streets of Paris. "A young girl was sitting outside a cafe playing a violin that had a puppet attached by a string to the bow. It danced in time to her music. She was so cute, this girl, and I stood watching her for a long time. She said she had been called a lollipop at school because she was tall and thin and had a big head and eyes." The Lollipop girls are her gift to girls everyw ~ CISSY ~ is a 26" standing doll with porcelain head, torso to below the breast, legs to upper thigh and arms to the elbow with a cloth torso. She has an articulated head which moves smoothly. Internal armature in the arms makes it possible to pose them in different positions. Her legs are permanently posed in a standing position. She is held upright by her stand which has two metal posts that go through the bottom of her boots and up into her legs. One of the posts is not securely in the base of the stand. It does come out of it's hole, but can be placed back in it. I recommend removing the doll from the stand when moving her and reattaching her once the stand is in it's new position. ~ CISSY's ~ blue eyes are clear and free from scratches. She has applied upper lashes in excellent condition. Her face painting is in pristine condition with dramatic gold eye shadow, painted lower lashes with dark eye shadow and hot pink colored lips lined with red. T are no rubs, scratches or extraneous marks on her face. Her long, bright pink wig with full bangs is styled with some of the hair pulled into two ponytails at the top of her head. Because ~ CISSY ~ has never been undressed, and I don't wish to alter that condition, my inspection of her is limited to what I can get at without removing her clothing, including those hot pink boots. What I am able to inspect is in excellent condition with no scratches or extraneous marks to the porcelain. ~ CISSY ~ is dressed in her complete original outfit as shown in the photos. She wears tight black "leather" bell-bottoms, matching black "leather" jacket, sequin adorned black tee, crystal studded belt, crystal drop necklace, hot pink earrings and hot pink boots to match her hair. I am glad that I don't have to wear boots to match my hair. It would be tough to find boots with brown lowers and gray uppers. :o) ~ CISSY ~ comes to you with her original outfit, stand and COA (no hangtag). We do not have an original box or shipper, but will make sure that she is safely and securely packaged for the journey to her new home. Unless otherwise noted, any props used in my photos are for display purposes only and are not included as part of the listing. This includes stands, furniture, plants, pets and anything else that did not originally belong to the doll. I've tried to include my husband, but buyers keep sending him back and I am tiring of the high shipping fees. :o) Please keep in mind that although I do go over these dolls thoroughly, t may be something minor that I missed.
