She is #240 from a completely sold out edition of 5000 pieces world wide. She is completely original and unaltered. She has never been undressed or redressed. From the 2002 Collection catalog: The Story of the Lollipop Girls The lollipop girls began as sketches. Jan first saw her inspiration on the streets of Paris. "A young girl was sitting outside a cafe playing a violin that had a puppet attached by a string to the bow. It danced in time to her music. She was so cute, this girl, and I stood watching her for a long time. She said she had been called a lollipop at school because she was tall and thin and had a big head and eyes." The Lollipop girls are her gift to girls everyw ~ CISSY ~ is a 26" standing doll with porcelain head, torso to below the breast, legs to upper thigh and arms to the elbow with a cloth torso. She has an articulated head which moves smoothly. Internal armature in the arms makes it possible to pose them in different positions. Her legs are permanently posed in a standing position. She is held upright by her stand which has two metal posts that go through the bottom of her boots and up into her legs. One of the posts is not securely read more
