Jane Pierce First Spouse Gold Coin 2010-W Jane Pierce $10 Gold Coin (stock photo)
PERFECT: This coin is, I believe, PERFECT. It is one of the highest expressions of the numismatic art that can be produced by what is likely the most technologically advanced civilization in human history. SELLER'S GUARANTEE OF PROOF 70 ULTRA CAMEO GRADE: Seller purchased this coin directly from the US Mint, and thereafter stored it in a temperature and humidity controlled, smoke free environment. Please note that seller's opinion of the coin's PROOF 70 grade is made in good faith, and is based on much experience and study. However, it has to be said that although seller guarantees this grade, and will stand behind his guarantee, there is always a possibilty that a grading service could see things differently and hence grade the coin differently. In point of fact, dealers will commonly resubmit a coin to one of the two top grading services many times, in the hope and expectation of receiving a higher grade -- and often they succeed! Seller is familiar with one such case (related to seller by a highly reputable coin dealer in Santa Rosa, California,) in which a dealer resubmitted a valuable coin ten times to the same grading service, and finally got it back with the higher grade they sought. Seller is so confident that this coin would grade PROOF 70 Ultra Cameo that seller GUARANTEES the coin to grade such by one of the three top grading services [Ebay prohibits stating their names in raw coin ads], such that if the coin fails to achieve a PROOF 70 grade by one of the three top grading services within 45 days of purchase, seller agrees to refund the full purchase price of the coin, upon return of the coin undamaged and graded in the plastic slab showing a grade lower than PROOF 70. It should be noted that coin grading is clearly a subject about which reasonable minds can differ. Thus, others could conceivably grade this coin differently. You must arrive at your own opinion of grade. If you are not confident in this purchase, then you should not make the purchase. I would rather have a satisfied customer than a sale. If you are not confident you will be satisfied, then please do not purchase. I believe you will be very satisfied with this amazing coin, which comes in the pictured custom hardened coin capsule. If you want to feel most confident in a grade, you should likely purchase a coin graded by one of the top coin grading services (but in point of fact even those grades are commonly thought to be inaccurate). Grading is kind of like politics - everyone has an opinion. And I am no exception -- I have my opinion, too. In my opinion this coin is a PROOF 70 grade. In the final analysis, you have to be your own best judge of grade. But, if you do purchase and are unhappy for ANY reason, you are welcome to return the coin for a full coin purchase price refund -- in accordance with the below detailed return policy. Thank you for reading and for your interest.
