An aesthetic hamon runs the length of the blade. Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword is wooden with a high gloss black lacquer finish. Painted on in center of the scabbard is the kanji of the Ninja. A black sage-o has been tied around the wooden kurigata. The scabbard throat is bright steel with waves in relief. Guard: The guard of the sword is the traditional square guard of the Ninja sword. A steel blade collar secures the blade to the guard. Handle: The handle of the sword is covered with black imitation ray skin and then wrapped in a white cord.
