Japanese Imari Soba-Choko Cup Antique sometsuke porcelain cup featuring garden design of rocks, tree and flowers! Design in center bottom and around inside rim! This is hand-painted underglaze! Circa 1700's, possibly early as late 1600's, Edo era. From parent's personal collection amassed while living in Japan from mid 1950's thru early 70's! Measures between 2 1/4-1/2" tall and is approx. 3 1/8" in diameter across top. Excellent condition! No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs! Minor imperfections typical of old Imari.
