Japanese antique gilded bronze vesta or match holder. In lovely condition with a finely detailed and gilded Japanese monster on the face and his beautifully detailed gown and feet to the reverse. The detailing is of stunning quality, and very lifelike. The head hinge and spring are strong and tight, snaps closed as it should. In all a finely detailed little masterpiece. It measures 2 1/2 inches tall (6.4cm) Low start, no reserve. Good luck.
