This is an antique bronze ikebana (flower arrangement) bud vase from the early Taisho Era (c. 1915). It has an engraved design of a temple and pine tree as well as inlaid silver moon and mountain. It is water tight and would make an impressive display for a small floral arrangements.It has a signature engraved on the bottom of the vase (see last picture).It measures approximately 6" tall by 2 3/4" wide (15 x 7 cm) and is overall in excellent condition with a deep dark patina from a century of loving use.You'll love it, I guarantee it.........If you purchase this item and are not completely delighted with it, you may return it for a no questions asked refund within 14 days of receipt.Sailerking and the Shogun's Gallery have been in the Japanese antique business for over 32 years, and highly value our customers.
