This Auction is for one Arisaka type 30 Japanese Bayonet Due to a lack of funds. I am thinning out my collection, getting rid of doubles and such. I hate to let it go, but I need the money. This item was manufactured by Kokura Rikugun Zoheaisho, under Tokyo Arsenal Supervision;It has the Curved Quillon, the Contoured Sided "Birds Head" Pummel , and the Contoured Non-Wrap Around Grips. It has a Fullered Blade with a nice Bright finish (Stained Blade). The Scabbard has a few dents, but overall very serviceable, with a good finish to it. Bayonet is 20 1/8" in length; Hilt is 3 5/8" in length - not including forward-swept "blade-breaker" quillon. Crossguard and pommel and made of steel. Pommel has serial number stamped into butt; attaching mechanism (button) is on left side of pommel. Two-piece grips are made of wood. Straight single-edged blade is 15 5/8" in length, 7/8" wide at ricasso; blade; front half (tip half) sharpened; fullered groove is 12 1/4 in length beginning 3/4" from crossguard and ending 2-7/8" from tip. Ricasso is stamped with the maker's marks. Serial number: 2694403 I will only accept Paypal for the winning bid. Shipping is done through USPS for $11.00 (in the US ) Overseas is "At Cost", in either case Do Not Pay until I send an invoice.
