Payment | Shipping Japanese Edo gosu-blue Satsuma Koro / Incense Burner w/ shishi, signed Album Japanese late Edo - early 19th century gosu -blue Satsuma Koro (Incense Burner) with a sculpture of shishi on a lid, signed by the artist. It rests on 4 finely decorated feet. The Koro has two handles. The Koro is decorated with a raised relief of gold three flying birds, river and blossomed flowers. The opposite panel is decorated with flying birds, an eagle on a log, sakura blossoms, bridge and a river.Two smaller panels are also finely hand-decorated with low-relief Irises with leaf and blossoms and smaller flowers designs.The top of a lid has the same decorations as the top of the koro .The Koro is signed by the artist. 10" tall x 6" wide x 6" deep.
