JAPANESE FIGURAL BANKO WARE TEAPOT SEA CREATURES Offered is a figural and colorfully painted Banko ware early 20th Century Japanese stoneware teapot with sea creatures. Measures approximately 7 inches wide by 6 inches high. Condition is very nice. I do not believe this teapot was ever used. The original string holding the bamboo handle and lid on is still attached. T are no cracks, stains or repairs. The only flaw I find is a chip to the top fin of the fish finial. The top of the fin is missing. Colors and glaze are bright and vivid. Offered at no reserve!
