My grandfather got these flags during and after WW11. He was in 7 th US Cavalry stationed in the South Pacific and then in Japan. When he died 40 years ago I received them. There are 6 Japanese Flags. They are made of silk. The 1 st four flags are 27”to 26” by 37” to 36”. The last two which are in the same picture are 13” by 18”. The 1 st flag have the reinforced corners and the tie string to hang it. The 2 nd one has the corner reinforcement but no strings. I had the 1 st flag translated. The last picture shows the translation. All the flags have been folded for years for storage so you can see some fold marks. I only ship to the continental US. I have done a better inspection of all the flags and here are my finding. The 1st flag has a small hole a little bigger than a 1/16" in the right side on the centerline of the circle. There are no other holes or tears in any of the other flags that I have found.
