JAPANESE GLASS FISHING FLOAT WITH LINES OF GLASS
This is a Japanese glass fishing float that I found along the Aleutians in Alaska on my recent beach combing trip on October 11th. It spent lots of time drifting out in the sea after detaching from its fishing net. Often these floats can spend years & years adrift until a good wind blows them onto the beach!! I was lucky enough to find this unique treasure!
This float is about 3.3" in diameter. It is blue/green in color. This float is unique because it has lots of lines of glass around it. At first I thought they were cracks, but then I realized they were thin lines of glass. It also has some net marks. The seal button has some chipping. Chipping is common for floats that have actually been used at sea then tossed onto the beach. T are no cracks or dings, nor any damage that takes away from the beauty of the float!!

I ship via USPS Priority Mail & always include insurance just in case t is a problem. The buyer is responsible for making any claims with the post office in the event t is damage to the item. I don't pass on any handling charges & use recycled material for packaging all items.
