Aloha Up for bid is a beautifully tightly woven bamboo hanakago-ikebana flower basket from the late Meiji or early Taiso period. This basket has 7 different weave styles which includes handles is the shape of bows and different widths of bamboo. The basket stands approximately 8". It is standing on 3 feet. This basket is in perfect condition with no split or cracked bamboo strands. It is just an absolutely beautiful basket that would look perfect on a tantsu or cabinet with a beautiful bouquet of flowers. Thank you for checking out my listing.
