This is a hand painted Japanese porcelain plate of museum quality. The plate has Nabeshima style decoration. Plate's diameter is about 8.25 in. Condition is excellent with no chips and cracks. T is a tiny firing flaw (black dot) on one of the jars however. A Nabeshima plate with similar pattern (the jars) is shown in "Japanese Porcelain 1800-1950" by Nancy Shiffer , p. 190. The plate dates back to 19c t Shipping & return policy. Buyer pays $14 for shipping/handling (DOMESTIC). The item will be shipped by USPS Priority mail. Insurance is included.
