This item is New and unused. I bought a selection of these a few years ago and what I haven't used, have been stored carefully ever since. This Obi is the han haba type for casual kimono and summer yukata. It's nice and stiff yet flexible enough for a variety of different bow styles. It's fully reversible and so you can get 2 looks for the price of one - very handy to have in your wardrobe. Approx sizes - Width: 17.3cm Length: 350cm (or thereabouts) This item is a stiff, plain weave and 100% polyester, so it's easy to care for. It has been stored out of sunlight but with other vintage Japanese items I have in my collection, and as a result, it will almost certainly have a faint smell of insect-proofing incense (this is common in Japan and can make it seem a bit musty to the Western nose). The item inside is immaculate . You agree you understand this peculiarity when you bid or buy.
