Okay - 's the scoop. I was at an individual estate sale so I got to talk with the owner. The item(s) I purchased were that of her in-laws. He was originally from Germany and was an engineer in Japan in the 40's to 50's. He traveled quite a bit. I bought alot of Japanese and foreign items at this sale. I URGE you to see my other listings because if you are an enthusiast of this type of thing - you are going to love this. Also - I have tried to research most of these items. IF - I am any way wrong or off base with anything I describe - email me. I would welcome it because I know nothing about what I bought! LOL - it seemed like all was too old and too pretty to pass up.

----- Auctioning two Wooden Kokeshi Nesting Dolls. The heads on both bid dolls and middle size bobble. I understand this is for them to bow. Both of the biggest ones stands a little under 2 1/2" high. What was amazing to me is the reds on them. Normally....the red would be very worn or faded - not these. The girl "does" have a little wear on the biggest one on the wood only. It appears that some of the polish may be coming off. Other than that - they are really cool. I am assuming they are hand painted and each one has stamped made in Japan on the bottom.

I will ship these USPS priority. I ship worldwide (international Pay Pal only). Insurance is optional to the buyer BUT I highly recommend for an addtional $1.65. I pack pottery/glass very carefully but once it leaves I am not responsible. Take a second and check out my other things!

I Love anything Bold & Old! == As always - thanks in advance for bidding and "GOOD LUCK!"
