JAPANESE KOMAI Stunning MEIJI GOLD INLAID INKWELL c1890 Description JAPANESE KOMAI Stunning MEIJI GOLD INLAID INKWELL c1890 A fabulous quality Japanese Komai gold inlaid inkwell circa 1890. Superb detail & workmanship. Small signature mark to the rear panel (see photo). 74mm high, the base measures 57mm x 57mm. Great condition. A few very minor missing sections. The lock in the cover does not work but the hinge is ok. There is a dent to the top left corner when view from the front.
