Kutani Rabbit Up for auction, a beautifully handpainted Kutani Rabbit. I don't know much about these Japanese Bunny Rabbits, but this one does have a signed, red backstamp. Sorry, but I don't know what it says or what it means. If anyone would like to enlighten me on that, I would greatly appreciate the information. I would, also, like to apologize if I have the picture positioned wrong. The rabbit has red, gold and white flowers, with blue leaves all around. One gold flower on the forehead. The Blue on the leaves looks like it could be enamel. It's a bit thicker than the other colors. The face is quite adorable. There is greyish outlines around the face, which I thought was dirt, but when washing it with soap and water, it doesn't come off. It may have been another color outline and now has faded. The rabbit measures, approx., 5 3/4" long, 3 1/2" wide and 4 3/4" tall. There are no chips or cracks. On the left cheek on the face, there's some paint loss. Some paint loss on the body, but the pattern is so busy, it's not easy to see. I will be happy to combine shipping for any items I have up for auction or in my store. Please pay within 7 days of auction end or this auction will be null and void for the winning bidder and expect negative feedback from me.
