JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD SIGNED STRIPED BRONZE TIGER COLLECTOR

This is a Superb Bronze Growling Tiger with Fantastic Detail on the Tiger's Face, Stripes on the body and Paws. It has Wonderful Orange or Amber colored glass eyes. Please note the bottom of the Tiger's Body, it has the signature of the artist but, was very difficult to get a good picture. I researched this wonderful piece and was unable to find the signature but it is more than likely from the Meiji Period 1868-1912. I welcome additional information that anyone may have. This piece measures 12 ¼" long and is 5 ¾" tall and weighs between 4 and 4 1/2 lbs. It is in excellent condition with a great patina to it and has no breaks or dings. This piece comes with a black wood base that measures 10 ¼ x 4".
