NCO Shin-Gunto sword, full length, not cut down. I believe from the serial number it was produced around 1934 but not sure. The SN is 55690. This sword has been in my family since the early 70's but I don't have any information prior to that. The blade is solid and sharp but it does have some surface rust and some deep pitting that I have not tried to remove. I have kept it oiled but the blemishes are there and can be felt and seen. The edge is intact with some very light pitting. It is still sharp enough to be Very dangerous during practice and Kata. Shipping is by location so I don't have a calculation for the amount but it weighs roughly 3-4 lb. I prefer Priority Mail but it is the winning bidders call. Let me know your preference as soon as you win the bidding so I can send the appropriate amount on the invoice. One note: if you are bidding from outside the Continental U.S., please understand that the shipping costs have skyrocketed and may turn out to be prohibitive. if you win the bidding you are asked to please know and understand what the shipping costs will be.
