The Ninja were hired for jobs that the Samurai, bound by Bushido, would not take on with dishonor. The Ninja was specialized in spying, assassination and infiltration. For these tasks the Ninja had to rely on quick thoughts, the ability to adapt and the stealth. It was the Ninja's resourcefulness that determined his survival. This is the Daisho Sword Set. The Set includes the Katana, Wakazashi, Tanto and Three Tier Table Top Sword Stand. Attributes of the Weapon: Blade: The blade of the sword is 440 stainless steel with a straight edge design. An aesthetic hamon runs the length of the blade. Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword is wooden with a high gloss black lacquer finish. Painted on in center of the scabbard is the kanji of the Ninja. A black sage-o has been tied around the wooden kurigata. The scabbard throat is bright steel with waves in relief. Guard: The guard of the sword is the traditional square guard of the Ninja sword. A steel blade collar secures the blade to the guard. Handle: The handle of the sword is covered with black imitation ray skin and then wrapped in a white cord.
