This is an authentic Japanese Kokeshi Doll table lamp of a woman in a red outfit. The lamp is wooden and hand painted. This doll lamp was purchased in Japan in 1959. The lamp measures 10.25 inches tall and 4 inches wide at the base. The actual lamp part of this doll did break several years ago so we put a new part in that we purchased at a hardware store and we had to duct tape it on the top. The lamp still works fine and you could easily switch it out to a better fitting lamp piece. With a shade you cannot even tell. I also don't have the original shade. This lamp is quite old and has been through an already long life so there is some naturally occurring cosmetic wear to the paint and wood. Please see the images for the condition.
