is a beautiful Japanese Chinese Warrior Vase. It may be Satsuma, but I am not for sure. I'll let you be the expert! I found this piece at an estate sale on my treasure hunt. The vase measures around 14" in height with lid, a little over 19" round underneath the dogs. Please note in the pictures, the lid is cracked. And t is one chip at the bottom of the vase. (note thepicture as well). T are warriors on one side of the vase, and the other side has flowers. It has an unique opening design to wear the lid sit. I was told this vase is hand painted. Just magnificant! T is some slightwear on the bottom, possibly from shelf. Since I found this at an estate sale, the piece could be much older than stated. I'm not sure if it has ever been used--I just know this will be an important part of your collection and I want to cover absolutely everything. I don't collect this vase, or this would be among my prized possessions--it will certainly be yours.
