Old Japanese Katana. Civilian Koshirae (mountings) with a signed Gendaito blade. This is an beautyfull japanese sword, made in the 1880s-1940s Koshirae: Beautyfull old civilian mountings. Tsuka (handle): black ito, Fuchi and Kashira with floral design, old white same (stingray-skin) Tsuba (guard): Iron Saya (scabbard): Black laquered wood. No cracks. Menuki: Arrows, iron, partially gold plated. Blade: Older gendaito blade Condition: Black spots and discolorations but NO active rust, NO pitting. Kissaki (tip): Tip is ok, just a black spot on it, look picture Tang (swordangle): Signed (sorry, i have no translation for this sword), with filemarks, shortened Hamon (temperline): Partially visible.
