This is a relist as the last round ebay yanked for asking for paypal fees, etc. THIS TIME, I wont! Anyway, same as you saw last week...Perhaps the nicest sword I have owned is being offered! Bought recently from a veterans widow (along with two others) is this ASTOUNDING piece. Perhaps the nicest detail carvings I have seen of dragons (BOTH SIDES). Blade measures 23 3/4" long (tip to habaki) and is in excellent shape (in near perfect original polish!) No nicks~ Blade has a very nice, attractive temperline and a beautiful grain! Mounted in a very old, splitting shira saya with original sword bag. Sword is signed Tadatsuna and dated February of 1702. Aoi arts emailed me that the signature needs closer study (did not say gimei, but further study....). I am selling this sword as if it was not signed, and if the signature is good, well then, someone is getting a DANDY. The Dragons are certainly very closely resembling his work.....Low reserve, so bid away, This would be the showpiece of just about any collection, regardless of the signature...I do not do shows and most of my items come from vets, families, etc~~~~ This sword has never been available before now for sale and is AS FOUND~ never mixed and matched~ Investment grade . EXCELLENT- Anyway, dont miss this one, sincereley..... ENJOY~- Buyer to pay with money order and $40.00 for priority mail and insurance. International is no problem, but shipping to be via US EXPRESS mail and costs to be determined~ payment within 5 days please~ HAve a great day` Sale is final, so ask questions beforehand! You will not be disappointed in this higher end piece~
