This is a Japanese sword wakizashi in shirasaya mounts. The blade is signed "Tango no kami Kanemichi 丹å¾OEå®^å...¼é"", shinogi-zukuri shape, early Edo period Ca.1600 era made Mishina school blade. The blade is in old polish and has been kept in mint condition. The temper line is wavy notare temper pattern with seven tama-tobiyaki temper which shows same temper pattern on bothside of the blade and healthy deep temper at the point. The forging grain is itame mix with masame hada and no loose grain. The blade is no bend, no nicks, no rust, no crack temper and the cutting edge is razor sharp. The blade measures 18 5/16" cutting edge, 1 1/8" width, 7mm thickness at the notch and 27" in shirosaya mountings. Shipping is $20 priority in U.S and $45 overseas via express mail.
